The events of September 27th C-Tran Board meeting are beyond disturbing. In a 5 to 4 vote the Board voted to move the Columbia River Crossing (CRC) project forward without a vote of the citizens as required by their own rules. The move also forces the C-Tran Board to enact eminent domain on Clark County citizens as directed by the Oregon transit authority TriMet with no input or recourse.
Local Representatives are asking for your help in standing up to this blatant usurpation of property rights and due process.
Representative Liz Pike 18th LD and County Commissioner David Madore have called for a mass protest at the C-Tran Board meeting on October 8th.
"Join like minded citizens for a massive protest at the next C-Tran board meeting - one hour prior! Last week was a terrible time for citizens in Southwest Washington who rightfully want to have a say in their government.” ~Rep. Liz Pike
