From The Chairman's Desk- September 14, 2014

Watch our calendar and send event announcements to especially when you see opportunities for our candidates.

The best comment by a participant at our Toastmasters Informational meeting was how we all need to become more comfortable speaking up in public (we're probably too comfortable on social networks).  Too often we let the opportunity to testify slide by because we are not confident in our ability to express ourselves.  Seriously, your voice is needed.  Please get up your courage and support our issues and candidates every chance you get.  Perhaps some of those chances are listed below.

Check out the calendar as there are more non-candidate events that might be of interest to you.

Vancouver Trap Club, 11100 Northeast 76th Street, Vancouver, WA
Ordinarily you could expect to pay $70 to $100 for this NRA class, but because the Clark County Republican Party is offering this as a community service, we are making the class available to residents of Clark County for only $35! Your first obligation as a gun owner is to be a RESPONSIBLE gun owner! Lessons include: Rules for safe gun handling Firearm types, terminology, and unloading procedures Ammunition types and components; Cleaning and storing firearms.  In 2012, American firearm manufacturers produced roughly 8.3 million firearms for sale in the U.S., a new record, up 33 percent from the 6.2 million produced for American customers in 2011. There are solid indications that 2014 will surpass previous records.  It stands to reason that many of the recipients of these firearms are first time gun owners.
