Election Right Around Corner

It’s here!  Election season is fully upon us.  In just 10 days ballots will be in the mail.  Make sure you and your family support the candidates listed below.  Last November our candidates won 14 of the 18 positions available.  This year, with these terrific candidates and your help, we should be able to make a clean sweep.  They call this an off-year election, but it does not feel that way to the 7 hard-working campaigns listed below.  Let’s all pitch in over the next few weeks and bring another victorious election season to Clark County!

I am always here for you.  I post my personal cell phone number at the end of each email, so feel free to call me any time:  Kenny Smith 360-521-8565

Write-in Liz Pike yard signs are back!
That first batch of signs went like lightning.  We are well stocked now so please come get your yard sign today.  Open 11:30 -5:30pm M-F.  9401 NE Covington Rd. Vancouver  360-695-1609.  We love having them on hand for you, but much prefer them planted in the ground attracting attention.

Vandalized Campaign Signs?
We hear of this every year.  Signs are damaged or go missing.  Bogus signs installed to confuse voters.  We do not condone touching anyone’s signs, but you do have our blessing to repair signs belonging to our candidates.  Keep them looking sharp and if you see anything suspicious take notes & pictures and report to us or to the police.  It is a real offense and penalties will be levied.  In 2012 some of our friends caught a sign thief who was prosecuted, fined $500, and required to perform community service.  He also got his name and picture in the news a number of times.  We’d like to make a celebrity of everyone who vandalizes signs this year.

Promote your 2015 candidates!  Ballots will be out in just 11 days!  We have yard signs and literature for many of the candidates at HQ, 9401 NE Covington Rd, Vancouver.  Open 11:30 -5:30 M-F.

Please encourage others to sign up for our mailing list at http://www.clarkrepublicans.org/join.  Many people do not know that we send this schedule information to them every week in email form.  Also, people may have to rejoin from time to time as their email provider takes them off our list thinking we are spam.  It happens every week and we have no control over it.  So if you ever hear anyone say that they used to get the newsletter, but no longer, they were likely removed by their own provider and they need to rejoin.

In response to Linda, I am just a volunteer here at the CCRP HQ and as such, this should not be regarded as an "official response to your comment but a personal one.

I have no access to PDC information, but I see sign storage for almost every republican running for office in here. I also know that the office has been used for events for other candidates than Liz Pike’s write in campaign. I also know that it is policy here that if a republican candidate asks for resources that we have available to support their campaign, the will give them. (By the way, I believe that support is first come, first served.) It appears to me that funds are not the only way the party supports our candidates.

Mr. Smith—reviewing the PDC information, it appears all Clark County Republican Party monies are going to the WILP campaign, leaving no money for other candidates or activities—interesting decision.
