From the Chairman's Desk-November 8, 2016

Please pray for our nation and our candidates.

Republican HQ will be open as late as possible tonight to help you with your ballot.   The phone number is 360-695-1609 and the address is 9401 NE Covington Rd.  Check out our Ballot Recommendation page and call or stop by if you need assistance.

Please devote the day to finding friends that have not yet voted and helping them get their ballots turned in...And then let's party!

Tonight!

Go to www.myvote.wa.gov to see if your ballot has been received (click ballot status).

Need a replacement ballot? You have two options outlined here: https://www.clark.wa.gov/elections/replacement-ballot.  Essentially you need to go down to Clark County elections, 1408 Franklin, Vancouver, or print a replacement ballot at the link.    I have not reviewed all the instructions about printing, but I know it is possible.

Is the election rigged?  Possibly, but probably not in Clark County.  To protect the citizens and our candidates as many as ten Clark County Republican election observers have monitored ballot processing each day since October 24th.   KPTV did a story yesterday about them which can be viewed here.  Consider becoming an observer for the next election.  There is a required class, probably offered in June, so watch for details.

The end of the term:  In December, the Precinct Committee Officers (PCOs) of the Clark County Republican Party will elect new board members.  I will not seek re-election, but will continue to participate as an active PCO and volunteer.  I have served on the board for two terms, beginning in December 2012, and am proud of our many accomplishments.  Possibly over the next few weeks I’ll highlight some of them in this newsletter.  Thank you for your support!

Time to bring in the Signs!  Don’t remove signs today, but beginning tomorrow, feel free to bring us any Republican signs and we’ll get them to the rightful owner.  Our address is 9401 NE Covington Rd.  Most candidates will want their signs for future use.

Coming Events (can also be viewed on our calendar)
