County Party Update
We are an all-volunteer, local, hardworking grassroots organization thankful for your support and encouragement. If you agree that our country still needs citizens willing to sacrifice to preserve liberty for future generations, please participate as much as you are able.
We have just a couple fundraising events this month, but they really are special. Please join Ann Donnelly on December 4th in her effort for our terrific 49th LD candidates and then come out on the 12th to enjoy a great evening with Washington State Republican Party Chairman, Susan Hutchison who will be making her first Clark County appearance as Chairman!
New Office Hours With the election behind us we have reduced our hours slightly to Monday through Friday from 11:30am – 5:30pm. What a great job by Brenda Poletti and the office crew to keep the office open daily for the past several months. If you would like to help with staffing contact Brenda at email@example.com.
The events listed may or may not be organized, sponsored or endorsed by the CCRP. If you have events that you would like to see listed, please direct them to Media@ClarkRepublicans.com
BAKE SALE FUNDRAISER FOR 49TH DISTRICT CANDIDATES! December 4, 5:00pm – 8:30pm There is no formal program so just come any time that is convenient and enjoy the camaraderie and remove the burden from our terrific candidates in the 49th. At the home of Ann and Mike Donnelly, 4305 Oregon Drive, Vancouver.
Why: Our outstanding candidates for State Rep. in the 49th District, Lisa Ross and Anson Service, worked so hard in such a challenging district. With their principled, innovative, and well-reasoned campaigns, they enhanced the GOP brand throughout the county. They made a huge contribution to our success with their ads, mailings, speeches, and their telegenic appearances/photos. Just think how important they were to our big success in the Commissioner race that put superstar Jeanne Stewart over the top! We need one more fund raiser to honor them to make sure their families do not bear the burden of their candidacies. Please join with us in thanking them in this very important and material way. Many hands make light work.
Where: Home of Ann and Mike Donnelly, 4305 Oregon Drive Vancouver WA 98661 (corner of Umatilla Way and Oregon Drive in Southcliff). If needed, Ann’s email is firstname.lastname@example.org. No need to RSVP.
Who: We are inviting all our GOP stars to be present and that means you. This is a time to celebrate and share “lessons learned”. We are confident that many of our GOP elected officials will be there too.
Baking Committee: Her team is seeking a 30-person baking committee to produce between 1 and 3 yummy plates of baked treats each. Contact Ann with questions (email@example.com). We already have a number of bakers signed up. Would you like to bake with us? (Easy, quick, economical and delicious – that is our style). This is so simple and fun: the baking committee members will bring their treats (wrapped and labeled with their names and selection name) to Ann Donnelly’s home on December 3 or 4th. If you are in a hurry, just put the item(s) at Ann’s front door – she will be looking for them. That is all you need to do. Then come to the event and buy someone else’s treat. Or buy your own!
Eating/Buying Committee: Non-bakers (everyone else) will be assigned to the Eating/Buying Committee. All the treats will be priced at $25. (Larger contributions will be gratefully accepted.)
Can’t make it that night? We will take your order and bring you a treat in exchange for your contribution of $25.00.
CHRISTMAS PARTY WITH SUSAN HUTCHISON! December 12th, 6:30pm
The Artillary (to be confirmed)
Come celebrate the joys of the season with the Chairman of the Washington State Republican Party, Susan Hutchison, who will be our very special featured speaker. Susan has been eager to visit Clark County since her election and it appears our opportunity has arrived! Please watch for a special email to be sent Wednesday with details.
I WILL NOT COMPLY RALLY IN OLYMPIA December 13th, 11:00am – 1:00pm
WA State Capital, Gateway Park. 416 Sid Snyder Ave SW Olympia
According to the Facebook Event Page, 6300 people have already signed up to attend this civil disobedience event. According to the organizer, Gavin Seim: On Nov 4th 2014 a new gun law was passed in Washington that will make as much as handing a friend your gun a felony. We will not tolerate this law and I am going to do what I said I would do in my video. We’re not waiting for politicians, judges or lawyers. Our birthright is NOT to be touched. We call on our Sheriffs, local representatives and legislators to stand with us and uphold their oaths. The Constitution is the supreme law and our God given rights are NOT open for negotiation. We choose to uphold the law as peacefully and principled as possible, but it will be upheld. We will buy and sell guns from whom we please, we will not submit to background checks, we will not give up our rights, WE WILL NOT Comply. On Dec 13th we will hold our first rally at the capital, openly exchange guns, unveil and plan to break apart the entire legislation and violate i594 in every possible way. Because ALL law that violates the Constitution is not law, it is VOID!

Opportunities to Serve Your Community
We have posted a number of Clark County advisory board positions over the past few months. We would like to call your attention to this page which lists all the boards, current vacancies (box on the right side) and Recent Appointees (also on the right side). We’d sure like to see your name there. Please take a look at the opportunities to help the commissioners and join them if you can. In addition to those listed, there is a Transportation Impact Fee Commission being formed that could certainly use your talent. The link is here.
The city of Vancouver has several committee openings as well. You can see them right now at their home page under the "stay connected" heading. http://www.cityofvancouver.us/. You can find links to all the cities here. Just click on the city name to go to their website.
Feel free to contact me. I am available to you any time,
