Lincoln Day Dinner Tickets available!  What a great evening this will be!  Click here to purchase tickets. Doors open at 5:30 for the dinner.  If you are a Century Club-Plus member you are invited to the VIP reception at 4:30.  Century Club-Plus members are those who have contributed $150 or more since the last Lincoln Day Dinner.

Call for auction items:  A significant part of the Lincoln Day Dinner is the auction items donated by the community.  If you can procure some auction items this week it would be greatly appreciated.  You can bring items to our HQ any Monday through Friday from noon to 4pm or call us at 360-521-8565 and we’ll arrange pickup.  Please fill out our online form at https://clarkrepublicans.ejoinme.org/2016ItemDonation.

Filing Week is here.  If you have ever thought about running for office, now is the time to take action.  See  https://www.clark.wa.gov/elections/candidates for details.  If you would like to discuss filing, feel free to call Kenny at 360-521-8565.  This is the big one, where nearly every partisan office is up for election.  There are still a few statewide and local offices where no Republican has declared intent to run.  You can find a list of the open offices here.  You can see who has filed so far here.  You can file to run for office here.  Online filing ends this Friday at 4pm.  Filing in person ends at 5pm.  252 Precinct Committee Officers will be chosen and filing is at the same link.  The PCOs govern the party by setting the direction of the party and choosing its leaders.  If you would like to know more about the PCO position please give Kenny a call 360-521-8565.  For national, statewide, or positions that cross county lines you must file with the Secretary of State.  That information can be found here

 

Want to get an inside look at how ballots are handled?  Become an election observer or just learn about the election process at the June 8 training.  See the “Coming Events” section below for details.  This training is only offered one day per year so don’t miss this opportunity. 

Items Needed by your County Party.  If you have an enclosed trailer you could donate to us on a permanent or election season basis we would sure like to hear from you.  We might even be interested in purchasing it from you.  We also need a dependable duplexing color laser printer.  If you can help us with either of those please contact Kenny at 360-521-8565

WASHINGTON STATE REPUBLICAN PARTY CONVENTION May 19 – 21
TRAC Center in Pasco, WA
Our 105 Delegates will join 1400 more from across the state to choose 11 statewide delegates and alternates and 3 delegates and alternates per Congressional District to represent us at the National Republican Convention.  We will also adopt a party platform and debate resolutions.

COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING May 31, 10:00am

These council meetings have been rather shocking.  We really need people to attend and express their views.  You can also watch these live or recorded at www.cvtv.org .  Watch some of the past meetings and it will become obvious that we need more Republican participation.

ELECTION OBSERVER TRAINING June 8, 6:00 – 8:00pm
