From the Chairman's Desk-July 5, 2016

If you have items for the calendar or newsletter, send them to media@clarkrepublicans.com.  Please visit us at Republican HQ where we have yard signs and literature for many of the candidates.   Our address is 9401 NE Covington Rd., Vancouver and we are open M-F noon-4pm.

In just a couple weeks, primary ballots will be in the mail.  Please take the time to learn about the candidates and then encourage your friends and neighbors to vote with you.  The candidates will never be able to meet all the voters.  They need your help.  Please reach more people by writing letters to the editors, passing out literature and joining the candidates at their events.  Get on their email lists to stay up to date with them.  Their contact information is listed below.  Time is very short!

Bill Bryant’s speech from his successful event in Tacoma is now available here: https://vimeo.com/172658274/bc1e7bd20c or click on the video above.  Thank you to everyone who went to Tacoma to support his campaign.  Your contributions to his campaign right now would be very helpful as they buy airtime for the primary: https://causes.anedot.com/bill-bryant-for-governor?sc=home

FedEx those I-1515 petitions in your possession.  If you have any petitions please FedEx them to the address on the back today!  Don’t mail them!  300,000 signatures are due now, so please FedEx what you have!  You can also drop them off at Dave Austen’s CPA office by 3pm TODAY– 8200 E Mill Plain, and they will get them out today.  Thank you to everyone who worked on this issue!

Clark County Residents - Another ordinance to suspend with 100 signatures and just 2 more days to get it done!  The Clark County Council passed an ordinance on June 28th to advance the process of assaulting the wealth and property of our rural citizens. SUSPEND THIS ORDINANCE NOW by gathering just 100 signatures. Just print out this petition, sign it, if you have anyone else (Clark County registered voters) in your household, ask them to sign it also. If you want to gather more, great. Then drop it off at Republican Party headquarters at 9401 NE Covington Rd in Orchards by July 7th.  Office hours currently are Noon - 4pm weekdays.  Note that only original signatures are accepted. You can download and print, but you can't scan and email it back. We need the original signature and we need to have them by this Thursday, July 7 so there is not much time to get this done.

Office Staff Needed:  It is time to expand our office hours!  Are you able to give up a few hours per week to keep this office serving the public?  We have kept the office staffed every weekday for two years, expanding during the campaign season.  Most of our volunteers donate just one morning or one afternoon each week so the load is light on everyone.  Can you join the team?  Please contact the Office Manager, Rich Johnson at 360-253-2250 or richj@tairedd.com.

Fair booth workers needed:  The Clark County Fair is coming August 5th through the 14th and we need people to staff the booth.  Please contact Katja at 360-771-4858 wa4liberty@gmail.com to get on the schedule.  We will have two people at the booth each shift.

Paid campaign work: WSRP is accepting applications for Field Directors in key targeted regions (including Clark County).  The Field Director assists in increasing Republican voter registration, increasing the voter identification numbers in the region by leading canvassing efforts, helps Republicans in local races, and motivates and trains the Republican Party grassroots in preparation for 2016’s statewide elections.  For a full job description of the Field Director position and instructions on how to submit your application, CLICK HERE.  Jake Braunger, Political Director Washington State Republican Party  (425) 460-0570

Please check out the candidates, get on their mailing lists, attend their events and help spread their message.  Ask your family and friends for their vote.  We have supplies for many of the candidates at HQ 9401 NE Covington Rd.  Open M-F noon-4pm.  Just in:  Yard signs for Amanda Richards in LD14.
