This week it was the Camas Days Parade ending with our very BIG TRUCK in a very narrow street with children and adults everywhere!   Nerve wracking for our driver, I think.  Thanks again to Joel Olson Trucking for a beautiful truck and a great driver! Thanks to the candidates and many volunteers who have made our parade entries a success!  You will find pictures of all the other candidate floats here.  You’ll have to click on the left arrow to get to the newest pages which are not yet up tonight.

VOLUNTEERS REQUESTED:  The Clark County Republican Party requests your help for:

Office Staffing—Brenda Poletti  Brenda has the office staffed every weekday from 9-5 but would love to have weekend and substitute helpers.  If you can take a regular shift or be on-call, please let Brenda know.

Fair Booth—Contact Katja at or Brenda to volunteer at the booth.  The fair runs August 1st thru 10th and the available shifts are listed below.

Election Observers—Give Kenny Smith a call at or email if you have been a certified observer in the past and would like to help us during this election.

Event  Katja is the events coordination executive.  If you would like to help us with events let Katja know that you will join her team.

GOTV—Help us Get Out the Vote!  Kelly Harms, volunteer coordination executive, would love to hear from you at if you wish to help us with our canvassing or phone center efforts.

Sign Builders--We have an immediate need for people to erect 4X8 campaign signs.  If you want to learn how to build them or help other builders contact Kenny Smith

MONDAY IS THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO VOTE (If you want to vote in this election.) July 28th, 5:00pm
Citizens who are not currently registered to vote anywhere in the state of Washington have until today, 5pm to register by appearing in person at the County Elections Department, 1408 Franklin Street, Vancouver.  For more information call the elections office 360-397-2345 or check the website at  (If you register online you won’t be able to vote until November.)

Board seeks applicants for Public Facilities District vacancy.  
Application deadline is 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014. The commissioners are seeking applicants with experience in: the tourism industry; marketing, events and promotion; hotels and convention centers; facility operations and finance; economic development; and general knowledge about Clark County.  Details

ONLY A FEW PEOPLE WILL DECIDE THIS ELECTION.  Amazing!  With as much trouble as our country is in, just a few people in Clark County will decide the outcome of the election on August 5th.  We will be among them, but what can we do to encourage others?  Please study the candidates and bring your knowledge to your neighbors, family & friends.  Please ask them to vote. 

Come visit us at Republican HQ and pick up supplies for yourself, your block or your entire neighborhood.  They will appreciate your interest in good government and your interest in them.
