ELECTION DAY!

The Clark County Republican Party is guided by the 2016 Clark County Republican Party Platform and Core PrinciplesNote that our platform states: We dedicate time, talent, and efforts to electing those candidates who represent these principles and commit to implementing them into public policy.

If you have items for the newsletter or calendar, send them to media@clarkrepublicans.com.  Please visit us at Republican HQ where we have yard signs and literature for many candidates.   Our address is 9401 NE Covington Rd., Vancouver and we are open M-F noon-4pm.  360-695-1609.

Today is Election Day!  Please get those ballots in!  Candidates have been working very hard to earn your vote.  Please do your part.  If you need help give us a call at 360-695-1609.

Do I have to vote in every race?  NO!  Leave races undecided if you must, but turn in that ballot!

ARGH!  This voter’s pamphlet doesn’t show all the candidates!  That’s right. You have to go online to find the statewide voter’s guide.  We set up an easy link at www.VOTES2016.com.  Or give us a call and we can discuss them with you.  360-695-1609.

Got time to actually see the candidates and hear their pitch?  http://www.tvw.org/video-voters-guide/

Hey, there is no Republican in this race!  In the 49th Legislative District there is no Republican listed in Position 1 State Representative (the one with just 2 Democrats).  We encourage you to WRITE IN Don Van Dyke.  He has registered as a write in candidate and would appreciate your vote.  He served this year as a delegate to the county and state conventions and has been an excellent volunteer for the Party.

Will Clark County lag the state in voter turnout again?  We are one of the counties that can overcome the liberal King County vote if we just improve our voter turnout.  Candidates, Bill Bryant and Michael Waite made calls from our call center on Sunday and were very impressed with our high tech operation.  Please stop in today and let us show it to you.   Today is the last day to preview it before fall.  9401 NE Covington Rd. Vancouver.

Primary Night Victory Party and you’re invited!  Representative Liz Pike and candidates Vicki Kraft and Eileen Quiring want to thank you for your support tonight in Brush Prairie.  Children are welcome to attend.

Your Civic Duty.  Besides voting, you can aid your community by serving on a board or commission.  This is also an ideal way for an activist to gain experience, establish a reputation and build name recognition for future service.  Here are some current openings:  City of Vancouver Aviation Advisory Committee  Deadline: Aug. 26, 2016. Clark County Solid Waste Advisory Commission  Apply by August 22, 2016.  Health Council Apply by September 2, 2016.
